2009 crossing over to 2010 Thus approaches that time of the year when I re-evaluate my life and set goals in the year ahead... 2009 just zoomed past in a blink of an eye. Flying back to London in a week's time. Am depressed again. - posted by Sush @ 05:50 pm (11) told me what they thought

Yauatcha in Soho, London I've been too busy to take the time to put thoughts into this web space of mine. However, just as a way to unwind, I've just written up a food post on Yauatcha here. T'was definitely a place I want to go back to and try more of their amazing dishes. - posted by Sush @ 10:41 pm tell me what you think?

Aspirations
Last time it was being on top of the corporate ladder, etc. Now priorities have changed. No more climbing that corporate ladder crap. You know how some people say you should live life without regrets? Now that I'm stuck out in this rain of stress and puddle of emotional turmoil due to exam stress, my only regret is that I never tried my hand at something more frivolous. Why wasn't I made that way? To be able to try something easy going and more commercial. Would you judge me to be less of character if I did so? - posted by Sush @ 03:12 pm tell me what you think?

When friends come to visit
It was a good time to get away for the evening from my books. Am going mad lah, I kid you not. Jo's in England for a whole month on a family holiday and Adrian, CG and I made it a point to go meet up with her for a bit in London. :) ![]() Jo showing me love. Lol. ![]() The boys and Adrian's man bag. :P ![]() At the Chinatown arches where she got all excited. I love it when friends from home come to visit. <3 - posted by Sush @ 12:45 pm tell me what you think?

Life is treasure I experienced another passing in my extended family about a week ago. This was my mother's brother who had passed on of a heart attack or stroke. He wasn't that old, really. My greatest fear still is receiving unexpected phone calls at odd times from home. You know when you're away from home, these are the biggest concerns one gets. Afraid of accidents happening back home, unexpected events, etc. Its just the way life is I suppose. But all I can do everyday really, is to rely on God and to continuously pray for protection for my family back home and the sister in Sydney. Upon receiving an email from my mother which was really touching and insightful, I realised that I am truly blessed with a close knit family and have close friends who I can rely on. I was told to pray more for those close to me and I shall. Also, talking more often to loved ones definitely is the key. Life is short and we should really treasure it. One thing I'm definitely making an effort to try to do is continue to build upon and strengthen the ties I have with those I care for. I think we all should take time out of our busy schedules and have a conversation with those close to us although we're thousands of miles apart or a 30 minute train ride away. These catch ups always make me feel tons better anyway. :) - posted by Sush @ 06:40 pm tell me what you think?

Alternative space
So I'm finally contributing to a food blog along with three other foodies. :) Join us here: www.wewillwokyou.blogspot.com and laugh along to our baking/eating adventures or even misadventures. And also dig into the sights of food that we explore whilst in London and around the UK, as well as fabulous eats in KL, the place we all call home. - posted by Sush @ 10:04 am tell me what you think?

So profound I Peter 5:6-11. Nuffsaid. I thank God for words that come late in the night such as these. When the day is over and I'm tired, both physically, mentally and even emotionally. Such comfort these words bring. What do I feel after? Gratitude. And loved. - posted by Sush @ 07:39 pm tell me what you think?

When I'm down This never fails to make me laugh. :) Of course the best part for me is Groban appearing suddenly out of nowhere playing operatic-pop music on the piano singing in his majestic voice whilst 'snowflakes' fall softly. :P - posted by Sush @ 10:51 pm tell me what you think?

August! I've actually enjoyed being on my training course this week. Met a few old uni mates there who are working for the firm as well. And well, a couple of characters from the other offices made it more enjoyable. Well its close to 11.30pm and I thought I'd just churn out a random post. Have to be up by 6am tomorrow to head to a client's place slightly up north for another stock take. Thank goodness its not counting COWS again. Yep, you read right. I counted COWS last Friday. Yknow, the ones that go 'MOO'? I found out that they really really do go 'MOO'. Ok, you can laugh now. Definitely ask me about this next time we meet. Its one experience that I will never ever forget... Well its late into the night again and I'm having my usual cravings for Malaysian food.
Been watching different versions of the Phantom of the Opera's last scene - Final Lair yet again. So moving everytime. - posted by Sush @ 11:23 pm (1) told me what they thought
